Boarding Terms And Conditions

Ivy kennels and cattery boarding contract.

1. All cats and dogs must be microchipped and have up-to-date vaccinations. Proof of vaccination must be provided before boarding, or your pet will not be admitted. Cats must be vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu, while dogs require vaccinations for Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, and Kennel Cough.
2. In case of illness or injury, Ivy Kennels and Cattery is authorized to seek veterinary care as needed. All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the owner, and any upfront costs must be reimbursed to Ivy Kennels and Cattery.
3. Any current or previous medical conditions have been disclosed at time of boarding and if currently on any medication a medication chart must be signed by the owner/ authorised representative.
4. If your pet has any ongoing health issues at the time of boarding, please inform your veterinarian of their stay and establish an emergency care plan if needed.
5. Any animals showing signs of flee or parasite infestation will be treated, and cost of treatment will be added to the bill.
6. Any behavioural issues must be disclosed at time of boarding.
7. If you choose to have your pets share accommodation, you do so at your own risk. If they need to be separated for their well-being, an additional fee will apply.
8. Your pet remains your responsibility until a staff member completes the check-in process. Dogs must be securely restrained with a lead or harness, and it is your responsibility to ensure a proper fit. Cats must be in a secure carrier/cage.
9. Pets will be escorted to their accommodation by a staff member.
10. No visits to see pets will be permitted while they are in our care.
11. All belongings left with your pet are at the owner’s risk.
12. Any items left behind after collection will be disposed of if not claimed within 14 days.
13. If you are delayed in picking up your pet, please notify us as soon as possible.
14. Arrivals and departures outside of regular hours can be arranged in advance and will incur an additional fee.
15. Abusive behaviour towards staff will result in the immediate cancellation of your booking.
16. Ivy Kennels and Cattery reserves the right to adjust boarding fees at any time.

WE RECOMMEND THAT ALL PETS ARE INSURED AND HAVE RECEIVED A RECENT FLEA/PARASITE TREATMENT.
